Gluten Free from Finland was created by chef Minna Moller-Thompson who had suffered from IBS for many years until she was diagnosed with coeliac’s disease in 2006. As a result her life changed, and her career as a chef was severley affected - as simply tasting some ingredients made her ill. It was at this point that she decided to set up a business selling gluten-free goods from her native country Finland, as well as providing home made gluten free foods to local deli’s and individuals by special order.

Finland has a natural empathy with coeliacs and gluten-free food production. There are over 25,000 diagnosed sufferers and the number is growing year by year. As a result, Finnish food companies and caterers have responded more positively than most, and there is now a wide variety of gluten-free goods available. it was with this in mind that Minna decided to bring these products within reach of fellow sufferers in the UK - we hope that you enjoy the products available, and look forward to your comments on them!
